Finished October 2005. DAMN! It's been too long since I was last able to update on here! Anyway, this pic is of a new original character I created that was inspired by the Stephen Chow movie- "Kung Fu Hustle". I don't know about the rest of you that's seen the movie, but I really enjoyed the idea of the Axe Gang. I dunno why, but I love that whole kind of Asian culture meets 1930's mobsters theme and I thought their leader, Brother Sum, was just great in how he dealt with his enemies. So yeah, after seeing that movie I was inspired to draw something and then this random gem came to mind

With this drawing, I tried to take some of my old cging ways (note the hair) and mixed abit of what I learned with cel shading. This pic took me entirely too long with my micron pens running dry on me, but I'm pleased with how it came out and I think it's a nice first post after the hiatus I've had. Heck, I still can't believe my last finished art post was way back in June! @_@;
